Pooling Resources For Out Of State Chess Tournaments

It was recently noticed by West Orange Chess Club member Will Culbertson at an out of state tournament that some other fellow WOCC members were also participating.  So Will has come up with a suggestion that if multiple WOCC members are participating in the same out of state tournament that they possibly pool resources together to help offset the cost to participate.  Most notably would be travel/lodging expenses.  He even suggested that if kids are interested in playing but their parents cannot accompany them, that, of course if there are enough responsible, trusted adults that come along, kids without their parents could come as well.

Of course these are just suggestions to possibly offset costs and allow more WOCC members to participate in out of state tournaments.  Certainly no one should feel any obligation to join in if not comfortable doing so.
